Goal setting conferences are taking place THIS WEEK. All days this week, including Wednesday, September 25, will be modified student days. There will be EARLY DISMISSAL at 1:10pm each day. If you had a conference scheduled for Wednesday the 25th, it may need to be rescheduled.

The non-student day will be moved to Friday, October 18, 2024, to improve consistency across all elementary schools and streamline our report card process. Again, Friday the 18th of October will be a day off of school for students.

Andersen Spirit Wear will be available for pickup NEXT WEEK! Please arrange to stop by the spirit wear tables outside the front office to pick up your orders on either Monday, September 30th from 7:45am - 8:30am, or Wednesday October 2nd from 8:10am - 8:40am (after walk to school day events). Please note, orders will be distributed to PARENTS ONLY!

ANDERSEN PTA’S BIGGEST FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR!

Please support Andersen PTA’s largest and only fundraiser of the year, Jogabunga - our annual jogathon, and a tradition our kids look forward to year over year. The money raised through business & family sponsorships and jogathon pledges funds so much at our school that is not covered by our school district. 

Please submit your sponsorship form along with your check to the PTA box at the Andersen front office by October 4th. Checks can be made payable to Roy O. Andersen PTA. We are also now offering the convenience of credit card payments using the below QR code!

This year's event will take place Friday, November 15th. Please save the date and join us to cheer on your kids!

Our Second Annual "Passport to Andersen" celebration will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. The event promises to be a day filled with joy, culture, and community spirit as we celebrate the wonderful diversity that makes Andersen such a special place.

GET YOUR YEARBOOK! 

Yearbooks are now for sale on the TreeRing website with 10% early-bird discount until October 31st!  

To purchase a yearbook, follow these easy steps: 

1. Go to www.TreeRing.com

2. Log in to your account and go to the homepage. New students will need to create an account. 

3. Confirm your child’s name/ info is correct. 

4. Select your child's name at the top of the homepage. If you have multiple children at Andersen, you should see all your children’s names on the homepage.

5. Select add to cart for each of your children and follow the prompts to checkout.

Yearbooks will continue to be sold after October 31st, at full price.  Be sure to download the TreeRing app on your mobile device so that you can conveniently upload photos. Remember to take pictures! School related events only.
